His experience includes training the staff in performing at optimal levels. Managed general ledger activity including account analysis, account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and closing. He has gained specialized expertise working with QuickBooks. Handled inventory management tasks. Performed vendor relationship management and contract negotiation initiatives.

Jorge Loera (Production Manager)
Jorge has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Cal-State University. Jorge worked as General Manager of Miami Aluminum, Combined Resources International and McDonald Douglas. He came to Health Advances in 2002 and has gained extensive knowledge in manufacturing, production and formulation of Vitamins and Supplements. Jorge is responsible for repairing all equipment that is in the plant due to his analytical and mechanical skills.
Jorge’s responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and approve documentation for supplier qualifications and monitor supplier’s performance by reviewing the quality of raw materials, components and delivery time.
- Oversee in-process of products, finished products and sample retention programs.
- Review and approve documentation, documentation practices and revisions
- Perform internal audits and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure procedures are followed and the most current revisions are in place.
- Maintain a change control program for all changes that occur. Document changes shall be controlled and reviewed. Documented training shall occur on all changes.
- Determine and approve appropriate documentation practices. All procedures and forma shall be dated, revision controlled and signed off by appropriate management. Records and procedures shall be reviewed for compliance twice a year by NSF (third party). Appropriate documentation practices include use of ink, no white out, single line through mistakes, initials and date. An X or / through forms or notebooks that aren’t used, etc. Obsolete or out of date forms shall be disposed of.
Armen K. Khachadourian (Business Consultant)
Armen is a seasoned global payments expert with over 30 years of strategic, hands-on business experience in global payment systems and new business development. His experience includes executive and financial management, strategic planning, and business process improvement positions. His client base includes global Fortune 100 companies as well as emerging enterprises in alternative payment solutions and ecommerce related technology.
Armen spent 21 years with Visa U.S.A. most recently as Senior Vice President of the U.S. new business development. In addition, he served 2 years as Vice President with JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services in New York City. Armen holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors degree in mathematics from San Jose University.
As a previously successful payments industry professional in a corporate environment, Armen not only brings a high level of practical experience to his payment business but the same passion to fitness and athletics that have characterized his career for the last 30 years. Armen is an accomplished marathon runner and tri-athlete, having completed seven Ironman competitions and 48 marathons. He was a member of the United States National Masters Team and represented the US at four world championships.
Dragan Marinkovic, Ph.D.
Brings extensive experience in analytical work: method development, separations, structure elucidation, routine analyses (HPLC, LC/MS, GC/MS. MS, EA, 1H, 13C, 19F, 2D NMR, etc.), QC/QA, creating/implementing SOPs. Supervision and training of junior chemists. Active involvement in publications of research results.
Dragan’s key responsibilities are testing final products in the Lab using the HPLC and writing all SOP’s required for the Lab. He oversees 2 lab techs for accuracy and training.
Synthesis, isolation, purification and identification of products; hands-on experience on both milligram and kilogram scales. All usual laboratory techniques and instrumentation [including TLC, CC, MPLC, LC/MS, analytical and preparative HPLC(/MS) and GC/MS, ES MS, NMR (1H, 13C, 19F, 2D), IR (FT), UV/VIS, polarimetry, microbiological testing, use of microwave technologies. He is familiar with ICP analyses. As a Safety Officer for the MedChem Department at the NBI he implemented many improvements of safe laboratory practices and personal safety.

Dr. Esmir Gunic - Chemist
Esmir was born and raised in Bosnia where in the mid 80s he received a Chemical Engineering Bachelor degree. He graduated first in class and was awarded with National full grad school scholarship which enabled his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees received from University of Belgrade (Chemistry Department) – Serbia early in the 90s. At that time he lectured at the University of Banjaluka (General chemistry) and consulted for the Institute for Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy (IHTM) – Belgrade. Esmir completed his education at the University of Minnesota –Chemistry Department as a postdoctoral fellow.
From mid 90s to date Esmir has worked at a pharmaceutical industry in drug discovery and recently at a process chemistry department of ICN, Ribapharm Inc., Valeant and Ardea Bioscience. Esmir has a proven record of success in medicinal chemistry reflected with four novel compounds which entered phase 1 through phase 3 of international clinical trials. His broad base of experience ranges from infectious diseases (HCV, HIV, MRSA & HBV), through cancer (systemic and topical), inflammation and metabolic diseases (Gout). Esmir is intensively publishing in prestigious international journals. He was also awarded with 12 PCT patents and is awaiting approval of next five applications.
From the other side, Esmir’s private Life Science consulting company GE&M Visio (President and CSO,) and in collaboration with Dibal LLC, was awarded with a major VC investment. This has resulted in a formation of BioSyb Pharmaceuticals for a drug discovery research program on inhibitors against MRSA. By the independent evaluation, the worth of the generated intellectual property was estimated to be in a range of 4 million US dollars.
